Chicken Grit?????????

Hi! I took my month old chicks outside and had them just peck at the dirt and eat worms and grass and pretty much whatever they wanted. I know that you should only feed chicks new things if they had grit, but was the dirt and tiny pebbles in the earth good enough? I haven't noticed any signs of sickness or seen them acting weird. They are chirping happily and seem to be thriving. Any suggestions?

Depends on your soil type if there's the right size grit. If it's gravelly with sizes ranging all the way down to sand nearly, you're alright.
