chicken growing in knee feathers??

so one of our chicks is really beefy, (in case it might be breed related but i dunno) but he is growing in 'knee' feathers, I got a blurry pic but if you look close you can see, i have had chicks MANY times before, hes gonna be 2 weeks on valentines, and i have never seen a chicken with feathers like this, not only are they growing in at a young age they are like, well heres the pic

the feathers sproting out are the bending part of his leg

It could be a feather footed breed, that's my guess. Do you know what breed you got?

Thanks for the reply. She (I so hope, lol.) is getting darker wing feathers every day and more feathers on her feet. So stinkin' cute!

Yeah, when I got bantams this weekend, I chose all feather legged ones (well, except one seabright) because of adorableness. Got silkies, a mix of cochin, and a likely d'Uccle. They will be garden bug patrol and my broody crew, so I'm thrilled.

I'm really hoping she is a she and she lays lots of eggs. My son wants at least one rooster; I can do without.
