Well my chicken guard door open just took a sh** on me. I had it right at 4 years. I going to look for a new one.

Do you have a chicken guard door opener?
How long did it last you. Mine 4 years.

I would maybe consider that ( motor) but why all of a sudden would it do that I am thinking sensor or mother board crapped out. What ever it is that told the motor to stop it did not work

That's strange. If you didn't want to replace the front panel, you also have the option of sending it to ChickenGuard for repair. I believe it is GBP 25 plus shipping.

On the other hand, if you decide to go with a new opener completely, you may want to stick with the ChickenGuard brand. The Brinsea version is a ChickenGuard private label (so the same technology, just the Brinsea brand name), but only has a 2 year warranty rather than ChickenGuard's 3 year warranty now.

I sent a PM to you

We'll be pleased to take care of you. Each ChickenGuard comes with a 3 year peace of mind warranty, and after the 3 years, offer reasonable repair services. If it can't be fixed, a 30% discount is offered on the purchase of a new opener.
