Hello,
An hour ago I noticed my 1 year old red hen had layed a really bloody egg, (I have found a few very bloody eggs the last few days but didn't see anything wrong with any of my chickens) This time I noticed the hen that layed the egg had blood dripping from her vent. A few minutes ago I noticed she was limping, very thirsty, weak and on closer expection I noticed her vent is swollen and has poo stuck in it. Any idea what's going on? She seems to only be getting worse. Can I do something to help make her better? I can post a picture if you need.
Thanks,
Rachel
