Looks painful. Do you think you could bring her inside with her eggs? If you have flies in the coop you could risk her getting flystrike on her open wounds, which can be fatal. I don't know how to ID what is biting her, but if it were me I'd say either another hen is picking on her, a rat is nibbling on her at night, or she has some sort of mite afflicting her. When my hens have bare bloody patches like that I always bring them inside.

Try gently rinsing and cleaning the wound, then applying an ointment (I recommend Hen Healer, it looks like this, but it's okay if you don't have it/can't get ahold of it). You can apply aloe vera on her wound if you have any (what I did when one of my black sexlinks lost her wing)

I recommend it because it speeds up healing and keeps the wound relatively clean.

She is by herself with a rooster but he doesn’t like getting near her and we do have rats and I was thinking that may be it too. And I will look for it.

The other hens are pecking on her while she's on the nest. Put Nu-Stock on the wounds. When the others peck on her and get a mouthful of the Nu-Stock, they wont pick on her any more. The Nu-Stock will also heal the injury.

I am scared also to bring her inside because I don’t want to move the eggs and risk her eggs not being hatched later on.

So the eggs won’t get damaged or anything if I touch them? Like the baby will still grow ?
