I only see blood when I look inside. No signs of infection and no discharge. I'm paranoid they've lost the eye but I have a flock full of chicks who've been together since birth and a few adult silkies that have never shown any signs of aggression towards them in the past month so I don't know how it would have gotten pecked out.Can you open the eye and have a look at it to see if there is any damage, bubbles, foam or white discharge in the eye? Is she congested or does she sneeze? If you have saline eye wash, youncan irrigate the eye twice a day. If there are bubbles or any gunk, clean it out, and apply some Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin twice a day.
Thank you. I hope so too T_T. If it isn't, do you think another chicken did it? I'm worried I might have an eye pecker among them. And if I do how do I stop them?Well, I would clean it out and check again each day.I hope it is still intact.
