Pictures attached and i do have or could take more!!! So last night I go to tend my chickens - it was my late work day 8am to 8 pm and I notice Henny Penny - my rescue, special needs and blind chicken has a runny but. Take her out to give her a warm soak and she has got a bloody looking start or prolapsed rectum. Call my vet who dabbles in chickens as there are not that many vets that do around here
send her some pictures. She wants me to soak her butt clean it up with some dawn and put sugar paste on it - good for drying and anti - inflammatory properties.
So i did bath, sugar check
Moved her to a makeshift hospital - dog crate with Towles
She seems to be eating and drinking
Giving her protect and past as well as other non irritating food
Vet does want to check a fecal
Bond egg unlikely as she had just laid on 2 days ago
She's young and non consistent
Please help!!!!!! Advice?? Suggestions???
