Okay I have had her I a dark crate and trying to keep her comfortable. I called around to every local avian vet around no one is around everyone can't see her till monalday. It is now much worse you can see the photo I posted earlier this am it is now 10 times worse.

I think I'm going to put her down. I don't want her to suffer...no vet to sedate her. Can't get it back in can't put a bandage on it and no one experienced to come an help. I'm pretty sure she's past the point of no return. I can't even photograph it it's that's horrific looking.

I would agree that that is probably the best thing to do.. I feel bad for you, and have never dealt with this myself as some others on her have. Sorry about your hen.

Ok sorry it was a long night... my sister came over and helped me get it all back in... she is wearing a pressure bandage... how long can I leave it on for??? I want to leave it on for the max time ... we will see if she is better or not today if it still won't stay in or is worse or I can't put it back in I will be putting her down today... how long can I leave this on for and how soon before I can put it on again?? I am syringe feeding her water as she really won't stand up with the bandage - she's blind too so that makes sense ...I did bring her out last night and slept on the couch with her since she had the bandage on.. If it is going to be her last night on earth well I wanted it to be one not spent alone in her cage

Henny Penny this morning after I took the bandage off - however in the process I ruined most of her feathers with prep h and I think I'm gonna have to soak her in dawn dish soap to see what I can salvage. I think I might wait to that till later this evening.......because she is getting another pressure bandage put on
