I have some polish chicken eggs I am incubating. I had 13. 4 hatched and two already died. Not sure what caused their deaths. I believe one was a twin, I could see two chicks in the egg in the first few days. It had a huge blister looking thing on its neck and it made it thru the night after hatching but died in the morning. Then I had another hatch and it had a thick umbilical cord. It dried up but I found the chick dead in the bator when I woke up. I had 9 eggs still in the Bator and I candled them at day 23 and I heard one chripping. In a few hours it will be day 25 and no pips. I did the float test and 7 of the 9 eggs remaining were dead. I did an eggtopsy and all of them but 1 died young they weren't developed. 1 was developed. So two questions... 1) is their hope for the other two or should I give up and 2) what went wrong? I had a hard time regulating the humidity. I tried to keep it 45%-50% until day 18 then it was 75%. Just don't want this to happen again. I hatched silkies before and had a much better hatch rate
