Chicken having hard time pooping?

I would get human calcium with vitamin D or Tums. For lubricant can use vegetable oil or olive oil, or any ointment such as vaseline, or antibiotic ointment, hand cream, etc. Some chickens may get vent gleet/cloacistis and have caked urates and poop around the vent opening. Some chickens may have a damaged vent from a prolapse, or just be constipated.
After doing this she pooping a little more but I can see like the chunk . It also smells a little more than usual

It sounds like she is having a prolapse from straining. I would give her some coconut or other oil (in post 7) orally to help her pass this. A human calcium tablet or Tums may help her muscle contraction in case she is having trouble passing the stool. What is she eating? Does she have access to water at all times? I might wven put a little water in her feex, and have more than one water location.

I sadly don’t have any Tom’s or human calcium tablets on me right now. I can’t go and get some now ether. I fed her some more coconut oil to see if that’ll help and put some more hermroid ointment on her vent but other than that she is gonna go sleep with her girls for the night and I’ll see how she wakes up tommrow. God willing she wakes up better

I would give more coconut oil again tomorrow. The calcium citrate with D 3 tablets can be found at Walmart for under $8. I hope she gets better. Check her crop early in the morning to see if her crop is empty and flat or full, and firm or squishy.

Gotcha , thank you so much for the advice I really appreciate it. I’ll update tomorrow on how she’s feeling.

Hey there! Lily is doing much better today! She was able to poop more than yesterday and was just taking a dust bath.
