I have 2 more due the 8th, and more on the 18th.

I have 14 in lock down that look good, 5 that are questionable, and 1 with the air cell on the wrong end. All shipped eggs. Should start hatching today!!!

Then I have 8 of my own silkie eggs set to hatch on the 12th, and 12 shipped silkie eggs, plus 2 shipped Buff Brahma eggs set to hatch on the 20th.

I'm setting the rest of the BB and 7 green egg layer eggs on Sunday to try to have them hatch on Leap Year.

you say air cell in wrong end, do you mean 2 air cells? if it looks like you ave air in the point, it may be clear fluid the light is shining through. That one might be a delayed hatch so leave it in longer, a day or 2. And ask for advise before helping, or if you have questions, that is why we are all here! forgive me if I sound too worry warty but just go with the flow... Remember chicks hatch when they have digested all their yolk... a pip,zip and they are still in egg? they still have yolk. good luck.

Day twelve.just candled a few.and they are so active.wish I had a flash light bright enough to take pics with my phone.my Turken egg.the baby was waving to me.

Sounds cute I have hatched so many I am running out of battery and sleep. But I candle less when I have hatched chicks...

Do eggs develope air cells that enlarge over time, even if unfertile? I have copper marran eggs in, and they are so dark all I can make out is the air cell and a large dark spot.
