Recently, I’ve been noticing my chickens shaking their heads pretty often. I started seeing it in one chicken and then started seeing it in all of the rest. They are around 12 weeks old. They are acting normal besides this. They tend to do it after I walk towards them and scare them off. It also happens when they do this this thing where the feathers on the body stand up, they shake their body, then shake their head. They are also shake their heads randomly from time to time, but this is when it usually happens. I’ll put a couple of youtube links below of them shaking their heads. Is this normal? If not, what is wrong with them and how do I deal with it? I’ve read that this could be a sign of mites or other small things living in their ears. Do you think that this is what the problem is? Thank you!
