Chicken help!

Does the collapsed egg have any pink or beige tissue inside of it, if you cut it in half? I prefer to give fluids by dipping their beaks into the water in a small cup. Sometimes holding a spoon up to the side of the beak they will take a small amount from there, or from a syringe or dropper held to the beak. If she eats, you can add some water to a small amount of feed.

Most of the time these problems are due to infection or lack of calcium or problem with calcium absorption in the shell gland. See if she feels better after laying the shell-less egg until another comes along. Give the calcium (300-600 mg) daily for 7 days.

No tissue just clear liquid kind of slimy looked like a ballon after I un crumpled it. Ok. Can I give her calcium and the antibiotic? Or space them

What antibiotic and dose did he prescribe? Check her crop first thing tomorrow and daily to see if it has emptied overnight (before she eats or drinks.) Smell her breath for a bad odor when you feel of her crop. If her crop is full and squishy she could be developing a slow or sour crop. Monistat cream or nystatin given orally twice a day, is used to treat sour crop.
She is acting better however last this morning she laid another shell. Should I up the calcium? It’s 300 mg and I have been giving egg shells. She won’t eat oyster shell. Crop has been excellent after coconut oil massage.
