chicken help

I bought 15 chickens back in January, now that there grown I have a mixture of hens and roosters, question is can you have more than one rooster in the group, I got these chicks for egg laying purposes.....

If we assume you have about a 50/50 mix, you only need one rooster for that many hens. More than that is too many. Pick out the best one, cull the rest. What kind are they? This is important to know. Do you want chicks from them?

they are 8 buff orpingtons and the rest are australops, none of the roosters are crowing yet, im guessing there roosters by there tall tail feathers and large combs compared to the rest
