I had brought 6 India Blue eggs on ebay from SD to MI, and I put the eggs under my Buff Orpington/EE cross. She had a 100% hatch!

The chicks at 2 weeks old outside for the first time today. The blue fizzle cochin bantie left his mom to be with the peachick's family.

:loI can hardly wait till mine start laying i have over 50 broodies just about all spring/summer sure would love let them hatch out some peas and teach them .

I have heard that sometimes the chicken turns on the hatchlings, how do you prevent that from happening? Are there certain chicken breeds that are more accommodating ?

How will the blackshoulder's offspring look like, when mated with india blue?
