Chicken hen raising ducklings

I want to cry... I just lost my newly mother duck to a freak accident. This duck has tried with 3 clutches and this last one, she hatched out 6 beautiful babies. We had a small container in the run for her to swim in. My girlfriend didn't want to put water in it for risk of the babies drowning. The container must have fliped into baby girl well we were at work and she died underneath it. Now I have 6 babies with no momma. I'm heart broken my question is, how do i get my brody chicken to accept the ducklings and be their momma, or is it a hopeless cause and I need to be the "Mudder/daddy mom"? Please help.

Try replacing the eggs with the ducklings at night, so she thinks they hatched. I’m so sorry you lost your duck. It sounds like she had a good Human Father while she was alive. So so so sorry for your loss
