Hi. My dog went after my flock this weekend. I have 7 and 6 are fine now, but one of them appears to be in shock. This morning she seemed to be coming around....I've been making her mash with oatmeal and shredded apples and some other things. She ate a bit yesterday morning and more this morning. She started drinking water on her own yesterday (attack was saturday). She was walking around abit today and would actually move to get some meal worms today. Hopefully I'm handling her ok! She's with the other ladies because I thought she'd be most comfortable there. She's been getting up and out of the roost on her own, so I know she's moving around.......
The question I have is regarding her back end. She appears to have a lot of poop stuck to her feathers. It appears to be pretty liquidy. Is there something I should be doing for her? She's pretty coated back there. I've heard that maybe a bath should be given but I didn't want to put her through another tramatic situation by doing that. Thoughts?
Thanks!!
