Chicken is falling down head first? What is wrong?

I have a 5 month old barred rock. Today when she came out of the coop she was walking with her head tucked in tightly. She keeps falling over forward as she is either walking or running. It takes her a moment to get back up and than she is off again. She has been eating and drinking like regular. I have not noticed anything different with her droppings. She is normal in every other way but keeps falling. This just started today. She is not skinny or losing weight. Her feathers look good too. Any idea on what is going on with her? Thanks

Could it be an ear infection? This can cause loss of balance.
