Chicken is limping and walking strange, please help!

Hi, my almost 8 month old barred rock is walking weird, like limping and hopping. She has never laid an egg, and we just switched her from baby chick feed to layer pellets. I took a photo of her good foot and her bad foot the first one is the bad foot

In the left picture, the pad looks hollow, like it has no muscle. How long has she been like this?

I just noticed it today. She just started limping a few hours ago.

Is there any sign of injury? She might have also just twisted her ankle a bit. A hen I had hurt her ankle running away from a roo.

I hope it's just that she twisted it. The bottom of her pad does look hollow, as you pointed out, I'll keep an eye on her tomorrow and see if there are any other symptoms.

Can you feel of her abdomen below her vet between the legs to see if she's bloated?

Update: She is so much better now and does not limp, she is active and healthy
