Chicken is staying in nesting box 24/7? Help!

She is is coming up to 1 year old and has begun sitting in the nesting box even when she is not sitting on an egg so I don't think she is brooding I think she may have a backed up egg(egg constipation) but I'm not sure if that is possible if it is are there any other symptoms and any possible solutions

Broody hens will set whether they have eggs or not. Does she puff up and screech or go 'clucky' when you approach her in the nest? Also does she pass large, stenchy feces? All of these are signs of a broody hen.
