Yeah, really happy the remedies worked and now she's back to eating like normal. The re-integration process is going to take some time though. She's being very aggressive to the other 3 girls so we're going to have to take it slow.Wow! That is such great news! It sure can feel sometimes like it will never end. But it did! So happy for you.
Mine is doing ok, still feel like I haven't gotten to the root cause. WyorpRock's list was helpful. Question: is there a worm that Valbazen will not kill?
She eats chick grit (tiny) by the beakful, like she is trying to fix something. (She eats a normal amount of poultry grit.) Sometimes is tentative with her food (hesitates, eats less). Her poop is watery, kind of mucousy sometimes, and all over the map.
Anyway, I keep a close eye on her so if her crop issues recur we can catch them early.
Glad Moxie is out of the woods, and hope she keeps it up!
Wyorp Rock and everyone else on this thread was so helpful. So glad I joined this forum there's just a wealth of knowledge here.
Sorry to hear your girl is still not 100%. Sad to get her thru sour crop and still have issues.
Have you looked on the Chicken Chicks website? Don't know if you've been to her website but she has quite the collection of chicken droppings (photos) normal and not normal. Toward the bottom is one that's runny and mucousy and mentions roundworms.

I hope you figure this out. Good luck
