Chicken jail

I have a Barnevelder hen that got into the habit of pecking and eating feathers during a lack of protien. Well I upped the protien and she hasn't stopped, so I put her in jail last night. Will this help? How long to I keep her there? im new to chickens so any input would be great. Any ideas that I may be over looking? thanks.

nope. just the other chickens. except the 2 flighty ones. they move like ninjas.

do they really work? I'd like her to stop. Will those make her stop? or just keep the others from losing feathers?

She wont be able to see directly in front of her so she wont be able to aim at feathers. It wont stop her from eating feathers on the ground though.
