I am new to chickens. I have 6 Hens. 2 Delawares. 2 Buckeyes and 2 Plymouth Rocks. They are supposed to start laying any day now. I moved from a small city to the county. I have a 10x20 pen with a 3x6 coop for the girls.

Hi! I started in June 2019 and have a similar set up! I think I got my first egg in September, my Barred Plymouth Rock was first to lay an egg. I have 7 hens, 1 Plymouth Rock, 1 Dominique, 1 Easter Egger, 1 New Jersey Giant, 1 Buckeye, 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, 1 Blue black splash Orpington.
