I must not be giving her enough tums because eggs are still soft. Maybe I will double up. I'm putting crushed in their little water tub that they drink from. Thanks for checking back.

Only half a tums daily is needed. Vitamin D3 is helpful as well. Human calcium tablets usually come with D3. There is D3 in egg yolk. If you have given Tums for several days, the problem may not be calcium, but a problem with the shell gland in the oviduct.
