Chicken Law in East Windsor, NJ

I have recently ordered 5 baby chicks, without it even occurring to me that they may not be legal. Well, they are not legal, and they are coming in April. My dad said to just forget about it, and that no one will find out, but we don't even have a fence! I don't know what to do, and I'm really getting worried. Will anyone even care? If the neighbors don't complain, will anyone even find out? What can I do - is it possible to change the law?

It might not be too late to cancel the order. Your chicks wont be in the oven until March.

Fighting city hall is not fun.

Just curious, I am moving to East Windsor this summer. Has the East Windsor law changed? Or, are backyard chickens still not allowed?
