(Chicken) Layer Pellets for ducks??

I’ll finish off the bag of Layer Feed I bought yesterday first, and after that I will only feed an All-Flock or Grower Finisher Feed. I guess it is worth the drive if the birds are healthy. :)

What I like about this is the animal protein. What I don't like is that the label is missing all of the other stuff that's usually on labels, like calcium, phosphorus, salt, etc.

Well I can fit no more 6 50lb bags of feed at once... The birds go through about half that each month. But I will and it won’t be so bad.
You don't need the bumper hitting the road every bump you hit either..:gig...:barnie
I'm willing to try anything once and if it doesn't work I go back to my old ways...:frow

Alright guys, they won’t eat this anymore. They won’t eat scratch, or really corn anymore. I tried Sweet Feed for horses like the feedstore said and they love it. But I was just informed that it is actually bad for them. :hmm

Guess I’ll be going to TSC this weekend.

Yeah, if the sweet feed in your area is like the stuff here, it's not good for them. Here it's just corn, oats, barley, and molasses. Since Tractor Supply is a Purina and Nutrena distributor, try a bag of all flock made by either manufacturer, both will meet the needs of most ducks. If any are laying, get some oyster shell and offer that free-choice on the side.
