Yesterday I found an egg under the roosts covered in poo and feathers, so I tossed it out.
Today I decided to check the coop again and I found a large egg not too far from the nest boxes but again on the coop floor. This one however is clean. I check multiple times through out the day and the eggs I've been collecting are warm (temp. here is very hot). But this egg is cool to the touch. Is it still safe to eat?

Yes, as long as it isn't cracked, you just wash them very well.

If your checking the entire coop daily and a new egg apears and it's not cracked it's fine. Just clean it off. Do alot of reading in this section. I've learned so much just in here. Congrats on the egg.
