Chicken limping and swollen foot pad?

i have a 3ish year old chicken, maybe Rhode island red? i just noticed she was limping today, checked the foot and the bad leg is swollen and seems to have a scab? i tried washing it to see if it was dirt but there’s only so much washing she will let me do haha

I washed at more and took off the scab, tried seeing if any puss came out but I got none, just a little blood

maybe yeah, im cleaning it with salt water and watching it beacause im very iffy on doing surgery without materials
