(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I’ve had chickens 4-5 years now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?13
(3) What breeds do you have? 4 RIR, 4 EE, 1 dark Brahma rooster, 2 dark Brahma hens, 1 BYM puller and just hatched my first dark Brahma chick Saturday.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They are my decompression friends after stressful nights at work in the ER.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am a trauma X-ray tech in an ER. I have 13 chickens, an 800 lbs sow that we raised from birth, we have numerous cows on our property, 2 horses, 2 donkeys, 2 mini pony’s.
