chicken lover in oxford, mi

i live in oxford mi and i am having trouble with the local ordinances regarding having chickens and I want to know if anyone out there can help me to change the ordinances. I am not sure where to start or how to go about any of this I just know I want to be able to raise a couple chickens for eggs. So if anyone can help me please contact me.
