chicken making weird noises??????

My chicken Layed an egg and started to make a weird noise I have not heard it before is she going broody??

That was probably the egg song. The way you tell if they are going broody is mostly by their behavior -- they will set on a nest basically 24/7.

Well it is kinda like a scary soft growling noise not that really LOUD noise they make after they lay an egg:/

No, what I read wrong was the original post. When my birds go broody, they don't lay.
