Chicken Mama by Default

Good Morning All -

I'm a science teacher who added a curriculum unit on hatching eggs at the request of the family of one of my students. The plan was that we would hatch their eggs in my science room so that all of my middle school students would be able to experience the development and hatching of chicks.
As happens with many great plans, unforeseen circumstances have now made me a Chicken Mama - which is also a blessing in disguise, because I became much more attached to my three little friends than I would have expected!
Just wanted to say hi and to prepare you that I'm going to be asking a lot of questions! So happy that I found this site!
