Just wanted to hope on here to say I have 3 MPC silken white easter Eggers. It was a fun gamble for me. These were hatched 11/30/20 and sexed female. I ended up with a hen that lays green/blue eggs, a hen with a tall single comb that lays tan eggs, and a rooster with no comb or wattles who is super friendly and doesn't crow but makes a kind of whistling noise (he's pictured in the front in the first picture) they're all so sweet really. My green/blue layer went broody around July 4th and was my first layer..they're the only chickens I've ever had but just wanted to shed a little insight on that specific "breed"Oh wow, seems kinda pricey, especially if they aren't all laying colored eggs.
