Chicken Math Has Struck Again!!

Hello....My name is Lori and I'm addicted to chickens.

I picked up tonight, 2 blue australorp, 1 barred rock, 1 ameraucana, and 1 speckled hamburg. And I got them all for FREE!! Right now, they are in my spare coop and will remain there for a bit. I am so excited!!

I just started raising chickens in June, and now have 13 in total.

Though I have decided to hatch some eggs in the summer or late spring. How did you get your chicks for free?

I use a site called Kijiji (similar to Craigslist) and there was an add from a lady stating that she decided to not keep chickens anymore. I called her as soon as I saw the add. My first 8 chickens are 6 RIR, and an Amercaucana Pullet and Cockerel.
