(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We got 1 hen and 3 pullets in November 2020.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? One of the pullets was a male and has transformed into a beautiful Easter egger rooster. In the meanwhile, as chicken math tends to go, we got two more hens, two of which went broody and now we have four chicks sired by the Easter Egger Rooster. in other words, 4 chickens a have magically become 10 birds altogether.

(3) What breeds do you have? Seems like an Easter egger and Araucana mix. Some eggs are blue and the rest are pink.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Making sure their lives are safe and comfortable.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Swimming, gardening, travel.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Retired and kids have been fledged.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D I have questions about raising chickens. Found this site as a helper.
