I planned on getting 3. Then there was a 6 min. But there was only nine in the bin and I felt bad so I got all 9. I found out they were straight run and TSC lied to me, so I got ten red sex link gals for free! But two of them died so now I have 17!

I have to be good my hen house will only let me have 6. BUT NEXT YEAR WE WILL ADD ON. Hopefully I will add 8 more (1 or more roos) and 6 more girls. This is my first time with chickens I have wait 12 years for this
and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I would also love 2 ducks if I can talk the Hubby into it as of now he does not know. I just might mot let him know and just bring them home.

I thought I was done for the time being 4 adults, 9 chicks, 2 ducks, 6 chicks on order.... But nope just rescued 2 silkies and a Araucana yesterday. Guess my little coop didn't want to stay abandoned for too long.
