I just got our 27 chicks out of the brooder and into the coop last week (I never expected all 27 of my first batch of chicks to live!). We were at TSC this weekend and I was so close to getting a couple blue chicks...but dh said no. Then, a friend called yesterday and offered us her two 5-day old Rhode Island Reds. DH said I was crazy but we could get them... and here they are! Meet Carrie and Grace! And now we have 29 chickens... because I am crazy!
