We bought our first chickens this spring!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We currently have 48

(3) What breeds do you have?
Silkie, Americauna, Brahma, Jersey Giants, Chocolate Orpington, Leghorn


(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love their sounds they make to communicate and their individual personalities

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Running, gardening, and watching movies

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Our chickens live at a farm with our friends and their 17 chickens.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I heard about BYC from a Vlogger I follow. She recommended new chicken owners join for access to a community to learn from experienced owners!
