We have 27 five-week olds out in the coop. A friend gave me 2 six-day old Rhode Island Reds yesterday. My daughter asked if we could please get 2 more... We needed some black or blue in the mix... So we got 1 Plymouth Barred Rock and 1 Black Austrolorp. Now Nellie and Charlotte join Carrie and Grace in the brooder! Oh my! Yes, I am calling the psychiatrist in the morning!
