Is real and may cause a fight. I got Lavender Orpingtons today. They are a week old and have a few feathers. They really are purple. I expected a grey color with purple undertones but they really are purple. My 12 year old is in heaven.

Oh how exciting! I'm expecting a Lavender Orp chick at the end of the month myself. If it turns out to really be lavender I'll be beside myself!
