Chicken Math?

We have four chicks. Three barred rocks and an "ameraucana" that I'm pretty sure is an EE (who cares as long as she's sweet, am I right?) Well, at four weeks, one of the rocks is DEFINITELY looking a bit rooish, so I'm contemplating getting a chick to replace him now, while the babies are still in the brooder so it's not raised on it's own. Is this chicken math raising its ugly head? Is this a slippery chicken slope? ARE BARRED ROCKS A GATEWAY CHICKEN??

Nothing wrong with chicken math. I started with 4 too. Went to over a 100. The more the merrier is all I'm saying.
