chicken mathematics

We lost one of our 8 1/2 wk old barred rocks this morning
So I did what any good chicken mama does and I went to the feed store and bought two baby chicks and two baby ducklings.
My husband wanted to know how that worked out mathematically and I said it was simple chicken math and he should know it by now.

Yes funny how chicken math works. Just got my first chickens last year. I wanted four. I have 31 chickens now and 6 turkeys. How the heck did that happen

Yes very small world!

Do most of my shopping in Tooele since all we have in Stockton is a gas station and diner. Not even a stoplight!
