My hen Hermione Raven has been sitting on the egg box for two hours, panting, and she won't drink water. She's gasping and fluffing herself up, and she's taking so long that I'm worried she's egg bound. I can feel the egg inside her. Should I give her an Epsom salts bath? I don't know if I should because I don't want to stress her out more, so maybe I should just wait longer to see if she will pass it? What should I do?? Thanks in advance!

Give her 15-25 minutes, if that does not work, 100 percent try a epson soak, let me know how it goes, you might want to put a fan on her and put some ice cubes under her wings to cool her off!

Thank you so much for your advice! She actually passed the egg soon after I posted my question, but thank you so much! She seems fine now and is waking around and drinking water. The egg was large but whole, so I don't have to worry about EYP.
