This is a 6 week old light bhrama rooster chick. I couldn't get a good picture, so I decided to use Constantine's playtop. It worked.

Until Constantine looked up and said a very 'oh darn no', let himself out of his cage and came a stalking up.

Constantine said 'gtfo'. Hedwig got the darn off -- in a hurry, might I add. Seconds after I took this picture he'd flown into my face for rescue.

It was fun. Con's still sitting on his cage grumbling, but it was fun.

Cute picture, but I don't think you should have your "exotic" birds mixing with chickens. I believe they can transmit disease back and forth.

They absolutely can pass very few diseases back and forth, but there was no physical contact (at all) and no one pooped . Besides, both have been through quarantine, and share a house. Less likely, actually, than chicken to chicken or parrot to parrot by a LOT. Espcially since both of these guys have been here for quite a while.
