Help please. My sweet chicken just keeps losing feathers. Not molting. She’s been like this for months. I’ve treated for mites. I’ve given extra protein and they’re on high protein feed. She acts normal. Loves pets like usual. Lays almost daily.
No one else has missing feathers. She’s not the low lady on the pecking order. She doesn’t pick at herself. We don’t have a rooster. She’s an Amberlink chicken and three years old.
I have five girls. An acre for them to forage. A coop that has nine nesting boxes. I can’t think of anything else..
