chickens nail broke at the tip. Its bleeding. Should we isolate her in a clean environment for the night vs running around in 5he run dirt and coop?

I would isolate to make sure the bleeding doesn't get out of control. You can pour a bit of corn starch or flour on her foot to clot it if it won't on its own. You can also stick a bandaid on that toe to help give a buffer to prevent any more bleeding.

I just usually make sure it clots and stops bleeding. If you need to apply pressure for a few minutes. Wipe off the blood from the nail and let her back with the flock. Observe to make sure no one is picking at her foot.

Looks like the quick is exposed so she will be ginger with the foot for several days.

she is doing fantastic! Bleeding stopped pretty quickly after my panic subsided lol
