We got a few new babies a couple weeks ago.
Names are:

Super Blue Egg Layer- Fluff
Salmon Faverolle- Latte
bantam EE- Jupiter
Swedish Flower Hen- Nora
Cream Legbar- Sargent Star
Olive Egger- Joy

Regarding names for chickens, I have named quite a few, some more unique then others, but I think they all suited the names they were given, and even though most have chickens have passed away, their legacy by their names has made me remember them and their appearance also.

Lavender: Araucana
Mini Foghorn: Araucana mix. Is black
Goldy: Isa brown
Charlie: Isa brown
Sam: Mixed breed, looks like a leghorn.
Cream: Mixed silkie, smooth feathers
Diamond: Silver laced Wyandotte
Whipped-Cream: White Cochin Bantam
Sunny: Rhode Island Red
Dalmation: Silver Spangled Hamburg
Camping: Silver Campine
Mighty, Mischief, Speckle-tail, Diamond-tail: Light Sussex.
Rosie: Rhode Island Red
Stripy: Barred Plymouth Rock: Stripy
Snowy: White Silkie
Long-Tail, Green legs, Pecky: White leghorn

Hilda & Matilda : brown sex link hard to tell apart

Love the names. All of ours are named but my husband just says that white chicken or the red chicken. People think its funny we name them, but hey dogs and cats etc have names....why not our chickens. I love naming them its fun!

Not all my chickens have names but most of them do

All my silkies have Old English flower names:

blues- Petunia and Poppy
porcelain and champagne- Dandelion and Marigold
black and white paint- Pansy
partridge- Rosemary

but theres an oddball black silkie showgirl my daughter name Imogene

She also named my Welsummer; Winnifred and the big black Australorp hen: Sam L Jackson (she was bigger than everybody else from the beginning and we assumed she was a boy)

We have Duke the Americana Rooster (he looked like he came from fight club when we got him. He was a stray that showed up at a friends farm, and she didn't have room for him.)

Then there is Duchess RIR hen, after all doesn't a Duke need his Duchess?

Then we have Jelly, and Bean. Both RIR mixes. Out Daughter gave them to us for Easter a couple years ago.

Lola is our other RIR she doesn't have a cool back story........ we got her from the local high school ag department.

And, last but not least is Itty, she is a silky. Her sister Bitty up and disappeared a couple weeks ago.
