Chicken Names- whats your chickens name?

Do you mean start a new thread with a new topic?  First go to this page and decide which section of the forum you would like: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/

Then click on the name of the section of the forum in blue on the right, like "Raising Baby Chicks."  That will bring you to that section and at the top in a blue rectangle is "Start a New Thread."  Click there.

But if you happen to be in the section where you want to start a new thread, like here in "Pictures and Stories,"  then go to the top left under the red name of this thread and click "Start a new thread."

Thank you for helping me, but I'm on my tablet and when I go up to the top of this page, I don't see what you are talking about... is it different if you're on a computer?

Oh yes, I have only used my laptop computer, apparently it is quite different for tablet and mobile phone apps.  Check this tutorial link: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/byc-mobile-site-quick-start-guide  It looks like if you scroll down there is something about an action menu from an icon in the top right corner.  If you can't find it, try posting a question in a thread in that section where maybe a moderator can answer a question.  Good luck.

I am going a little nerd here and naming our Blue tailed buffs after middle earth elves thanks to an elvish name translation.. Lol. The two roosters are
Rimedur (pronounced Ree-May-dur) and
Gondien (pronounced Gone-dee-ehn)

The hens are
Abigail (Still english..)
Faelwen (File-wehn)
Vanlanthiriel (Vahn-lahn-theer-ee-el)
Valainistima (Vah-line-ihs-tee-mah) and
Tauriel.

I love all of my chickens, although my Roo silkie will be getting sold/ traded soon, as my dad would barbecue him the moment he cock-a-doodle-do'ed his first crow.

Wow you all have great names! I have 6 BSL's and 4 look almost the same. One is mostly black so we call her Blackie and one is mostly gold so we call her Goldie. Sooooo creative I know.

I used to call our most feisty one Sean Jr. (named after DH) but they are all feisty now so I don't know which one she was.

1 cornish meat she is so big she only can waddle her name is spotty, she is a good laying hen also!

I have 16 new chicks, I do not know what type they are yet.

I have Arrow, Rudolph, Dot, Liney, Tiger and the watchers so far.
