Chicken Names- whats your chickens name?

Here's my frizzle rooster Frankie The Fizz.

So gorgeous! I want one, even though a white frizzled anything is so impractical here in the PNW. Did he get a bath or something? How is he so clean???

I have a bunch of chickens, divided into families.

The Australorps are Pip (the roo) and the Loops (his three girlfriends). Then we have two anconas who are Mr and Mrs Speckles. We have a family consisting of a RIR roo who we call Mr Cogburn, and his ladies Rita (new hampshire) and Zelda (bantam game hen?). A family of buff orpingtons who are the Bennets (Mr. Bennet, Mrs. Bennet, Lizzy and Jane). Then white leghorns Sergio and Gina. Then we have Littlerock (a barred rock roo) and his girlfriends Ester (RIR) and Mrs. Rock (barred rock). Mr. Collins (buff orpington roo) and his ladies Lucy and Ethel (RIR), Charlotte (buff), and Bernadette (barred rock). Then we have mystery pullets Beatrice and Berty. And easter eggers Bernard (roo) and Manny (hen). A delaware (I think she is?) named Delilah. Then there's the silkies, Mr. Bean and Cornelius, and their two hens who are unnamed.

We also have three brown leghorns; a roo and two pullets. They aren't named yet.

...So many chickens.

He hasn't been bathed. I'm surprised he stays as clean as he does because we have had alot of rain and he like to stand in the mud

I've only named 4 of mine, Lorena and Clara I can easily tell from the others because they are a darker red color, Lorena has the more of the light tips on her wing feathers and loves to be held, Clara is almost solid dark red. Peach is the largest of the others. All of them are named after characters on Lonesome Dove. The runt is named Mattie Ross from True Grit. The other two I am stil trying how to tell them apart so no names yet. They are all red star hybrids.

My 5yo saw the picture and ran to get her stuffed hen that her grandma gave her. Spitting image-- she must be the same breed!

Such clever names for such adorable chooks! My late SLW (my avatar) was Guinevere; EE is Sheena; RIR is Rhodie; Barnevelders are Henrietta and Eggnes; and the soon to arrive chicks: SLW - Greta or Gwen, depending on her personality; Barnevelder roo - Henri.

Girls just named the sweet cochin (pullet?) chick Bellatrix.

She is sweety. Did I just curse her? I like the name. We started out calling him/er Big Boy. Then Bead then Narcissa. I liked Beatrice, dds chose Bellatrix. I like it, but her namesake! Pretty evil........

Lucky- Female White Leghorn
Maroon- Female Rhode Island Red
Chichi (my sister named her)- Female EE
(I dont' have this one yet but I already planned it) Darcy- Female EE or Americana/Ameraucana/Araucana (I've seen it spelled way to many different ways)

I've got more too, but they are ducks.
