Chicken Newbie from Louisville, KY

I'm excited to be getting my first flock of chickens this spring. I've wanted chickens for a very long time & figured at my age it is now or never. My chicks are due to arrive the 1st week in May. I've ordered a Buff Orpington, a Golden Laced Wyandotte, a Speckled Sussex, a Silver Cuckoo Marans, a Light Brahma, a Salmon Faverolles & 2 Easter Eggers. My husband & I started the construction of the coop last week. We're using the Shiloh plan from cleancoops.com. It is a 6' x10' coop. I'm looking forward to this new venture & gleaning information from this site.
